Amber Wood is as practical and methodical in her approach to selling real estate as she is inventive in her ideas. For her thankful clients that means a double benefit: the most well-thought-out plan of action, coupled with the most creative solutions to achieve their unique goals.
Formerly from the world of finance on Wall Street, Amber gained strong sales experience which well prepared her for her transition into the real estate market. She began working for a Japanese company which sold new development condos in New York in 1989, then joined Feathered Nest a few years later. Today Amber lends her knowledge and experience at Halstead to help clients with rentals and sales in all areas of Manhattan.
While highly attentive throughout the often emotional course of a real estate transaction, Amber understands that her role is to provide clients with the straightforward guidance and accurate information they need to make wise, objective decisions. For this, she has earned a loyal following of clients who enthusiastically want to refer people to her whenever they know someone looking to buy, sell or rent an apartment. One customer in particular noted, “You were so wonderful to work with and made the dreadful process of finding an apartment so much easier. I want other people to benefit from your expertise.”
Originally from Virginia, Amber majored in Economics in college. A long time East Side resident, she enjoys taking walks around the city, whether in and around Central Park or down in the West Village, where there is always something to see and do. Amber is also a big animal lover with two dogs at home – a Lab and a 10-pound mutt she rescued from the pound.
