With her warmth and attentiveness, patience and persistence, Monica is a partner every step of the way to ease the stress and streamline the process of buying, selling or renting a Manhattan home.
Working alongside Halstead Senior Vice President and Associate Broker Ivana Tagliamonte, Monica is able to optimize the real estate experience with unparalleled expertise, resources and support. She is always there for your needs, whether you seek a wonderful home in the Downtown area where she specializes, or throughout the city she's called home since 2004.
Monica's ability to work effectively with a diverse clientele stems from her worldly background and passion for travel. Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia where she received a degree in Marketing and Advertising from Politecnico Grancolombiano, she came to the United States to explore new cultures, further her education and pursue opportunity. While living in Seattle, she earned a BS degree in Marketing from City University, then gained invaluable marketing experience working for Microsoft Corporation. After extensive travel throughout Europe, Asia and Australia, Monica ultimately settled in Manhattan to manage several large international accounts for a top five ad agency giant, BBDO Worldwide. Her experience in the fast-paced advertising industry reinforced her skill in listening to clients' needs, and exceeding their expectations with the best possible service.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Monica is intrigued with languages and different cultures, especially all things Italian. She even lived in Italy for six months and learned the language, which she speaks conversationally today. Besides travel in spare time, Monica also enjoys dance, yoga, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
