You may have seen Paul Lombardi covering politics, entertainment and live, breaking news for NY1, as well as freelance work for E!, CBS News on Logo and, most recently, WNET, PBS. Reporting from every neighborhood in the city at one time or another has given Paul a real love and understanding of New York. And now his latest assignment is real estate.
Paul comes to Halstead Property after more than a dozen years as a broadcast journalist and author. In addition to his broadcast career, Paul also writes screenplays and is the author of the New York Times best-selling book “Billion Dollar Smile” (Thomas Nelson publishing 2006). He grew up in Fairfield County, Ct. and moved to the city for graduate school at NYU where, in 1993, he earned his Master's degree in Journalism.
Ever since he was a kid, Paul has always been fascinated with real estate, dragging his parents to open houses. And selling comes naturally to Paul, having had to “sell” stories on live television every day, he became a quick study on how to understand people and how to communicate with them. Paul is excited to make this transition into the dynamic world of real estate.
Paul and his partner Jeff live on Gramercy Park West with their dog Harry. They also have a home by the sound in Westport Ct. where they swim, cook and garden. Paul plays tennis every week at Midtown tennis club and is a Pilates devotee. He was a Tony voter for nearly ten years and is still a “regular” at the theater and opera.
