New York native 'Rhan' Ferdinand's background is heavy in marketing, and managing, real estate. His introduction to real estate came from his summers out of college at Hampton University, working in the Rudin family buildings in Manhattan. Being a part-time property manager, during the early '90's for his family holdings, gave him even greater valuable experience and insight into the real estate market.
He holds the lead in the most HDFC and free-market co-operative sales in the United States for three years running...and has been noted as the "...king of HDFC co-op sales". Additionally he consistently achieves fantastic returns for his townhouse sellers, including a record breaking single family townhouse sale in Crown Heights, Brooklyn in the Fall on 2007. In January of 2005 he was awarded membership into the prestigious Gold Circle Club and, later that year, he closed the highest co-op sale ever in Central Harlem. He is regularly written up in The New York Times, New York Sun and other print media and was a “Top 40 Under Forty” award nominee by a national business magazine.
Rhan represents developers and property owners of premier quality townhouses/brownstones, brownstone apartments and co-ops/condominiums. He has concluded successful transactions throughout Harlem/Upper Manhattan, Upper East and West Sides, Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx/Riverdale, assisting the discerning buyer in securing the right property within their means. He is selective in choosing prospective clients because a connection with himself is synonymous with a successful marketing campaign through to closing. He displays his proactive approach and unusual marketing skills with fervency and zeal in assuring his client's property full marketing exposure in the most avant-garde mediums.
Although he may be seen at various functions with celebrities and the well-known in film, music, politics and fashion, relationships that he has nurtured over the years, he treats each client and customer, whether new or an old colleague, with the same regard and high professionalism. Quoted in the media, a contributing writer for periodicals and an advisory board member for a New York lifestyle magazine, he gives private consultations to developers, co-op and condo boards alike, and is a frequent sponsor and contributor to the Arts and organizations working on the Infant Mortality issue. Rhan is also a member of the Institute on Global Ethics, a board member of Solesville, the Etu Evans Foundation and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. Where other brokers state they "specialize" in a given area, Rhan specializes in one thing: getting the job done. Results Driven. Every day.
