We are very pleased to bring Susan Kirchmeier into our family of brokers!
An Upper West Side resident of 30+ years, Susan is now making the natural transition from highly successful advertising sales rep to real estate professional. After a substantial tenure in the advertising industry -- first as a producer and then as the agent for several high profile directors -- Susan is able to negotiate with tact and empathy, for a completely stress-free experience. During her years in advertising, Susan was also always interested in the world of Manhattan real estate, often reading broker's brochures and attending open houses just for fun. She will be as excited as you to view a new apartment and then scrutinize its potential from every angle, realistically helping you analyze your needs and find a perfect match!
Having raised two daughters in the neighborhood, she's familiar with the many, often unique, obstacles to family life in New York City. She would be happy to advise you on everything from school selection and child-care to local shopping and restaurants.
After the birth of their second child, Susan and her husband sold their apartment on Amsterdam Avenue and moved to the Astor Court co-op on Broadway. This apartment had been unoccupied for years and required extensive renovation, including dramatically splitting the master bedroom in two for the girls. She and her husband also recently completed building a house on Martha's Vineyard, which was featured in Martha's Vineyard Magazine, so she is completely familiar with the emotional investment that goes into every step of the process, from architects and floor plans to contractors and co-op boards, all expertise that she is delighted to put at your service.
Susan is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
