Halstead Management Company, one of the largest managers of prestigious cooperative and condominium residences in New York City, will manage three new buildings, Halstead executives announced today. The buildings, all on the Upper East Side, are 400 East 70th Street, 137 East 66th Street and 527-541 East 72nd Street.
"We are pleased to add these three top-tier properties to the Halstead Management portfolio," said Diane M. Ramirez, president of Halstead Property. "These buildings are some of the most exquisite homes on the Upper East Side and we are thrilled that the owners chose to work with our highly regarded team of professionals."
Located at 400 East 70th Street, the Kingsley Condominium towers 40 stories above First Avenue. This building boasts a fully upgraded infrastructure, rebuilt facade and elevators, a well complemented staff and a health club on the 31st floor with stunning views. Well- known to its neighbors as an established and comfortable place to live, the Kingsley is home to more than 200 residents.
The elegant 33-unit building located at 137 East 66th Street was built in the 1920s. Located near Lexington Avenue, the building overlooks St. Vincent Ferrer Church and is within close walking distance to Midtown Manhattan. The nine-story building has full-time staffing and features many large duplex apartments, a common roof deck and a private children's playground.
The third property, 527-541 East 72nd Street, also known as the "Black and White Buildings," is a row of meticulously restored pre-war buildings that were built in 1894 and converted to co-op apartments in the early 70s. The buildings have been recognized for their exterior restoration by the Friends of the Upper East Side Historic District.
Once home to the storied Paris Review, the Black and White Buildings are magnificently located adjacent to the East River on a quiet tree-lined cul-de- sac.
"Halstead Management Company continues to grow with the addition of these three renowned and stunning East Side residences," said Paul Gottsegen, executive vice president and Director of Halstead Management Company. "Our hallmark is being responsive to our clients' needs while providing all-encompassing management services for their properties. 400 East 70th, 137 East 66th Street and 527-541 East 72nd Street will have a trusted group of senior management executives overseeing the day-to- day operations of their buildings."
