Sharon Michnay Participates in LeadingRE International Conference

Opening session featured keynote speaker Pat Cox, former president of the European Parliament

Michnay, CRP, GMS and director of corporate business development for Halstead Property, LLC, attended the 2006 Leading Real Estate Companies of the World™ International Real Estate Symposium. Held in Dublin, Ireland from June 18-20, the conference was attended by top real estate and relocation professionals from the most prestigious real estate firms and agencies in the world.

The International Real Estate Symposium was the first conference of its kind for the Leading Real Estate network and reflected the network’s growing international presence, drawing attendance from Europe, New Zealand, the Caribbean, Canada, Dubai in the UAE, as well as 19 states in the U.S.

The Symposium gave attendees the opportunity to discuss best practices in real estate and to network with colleagues from around the world for cross-border business opportunities. The opening session featured keynote speaker Pat Cox, former president of the European Parliament. Cox addressed the current political and social environment in the European Union and its overall impact on economic development. He also addressed the current state’s influence on real estate markets in particular. The closing speaker, Paddy Kelly, is a major developer in Ireland and other areas of Europe and is now creating resort developments along the Florida coast.
